* In Islam, the signs of the
Hour or the signs of the Hour refer to the events that have occurred or will
occur before the Hour, as if these are the signs after which the Hour will
come. These signs of the Hour are also called the Hour of Judgment. The Qur’an
and the hadiths emphasize that no one has any knowledge about the Hour of
Resurrection except Allah Almighty.

                                       Appearance of Khawarij

Bu Sa’eed
Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that we were in the service
of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) and he was distributing the
spoils of war (Haneen). He said: O Messenger of Allah! Do justice Upon hearing
this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Alas!
If I do not do justice, then who in the world will do justice? If I become a
tyrant, then I too will be destroyed and ruined.” Umar (may Allah be
pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Let me hit him on the neck.

He said,
“Leave him alone.” Some people will be born with it that you will
consider your fasts as insignificant compared to their fasts. They will recite
the Qur’an but it will not come down their throats. These people will leave the
religion like a strong arrow crossing an animal. If you look at the fruit of
this arrow, you will not see anything (blood, etc.) in it. Will not be found.

If you look
at its negation (the negation is called the wood planted in the arrow), you
will not find any sign there either. In the same way, if you look at its
feathers, you will not find anything in it. Although the arrow has passed
through dirt and blood. His symbol will be a black man. One of its arms will be
like a woman’s breast (raised) or like a lump of flesh and moving. These people
will rebel against the best group of Muslims. Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (may Allah
be pleased with him) said: I bear witness that I heard this hadeeth from the
Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) and I bear witness.

Ali ibn Abi
Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) had fought them (ie the Kharijites). At
that time also Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was with him. And they
searched for the man (whom the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him) described as the symbol of the group) and he was finally brought. When I
saw him, his whole appearance was in accordance with the attributes described
by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

(Story of
Khawarij and interesting debate of Abdullah bin Abbas)

* On the way
back to Kufa from the battle of Safin, a large group of Kharijites separated
from Ali’s army a few miles away from Kufa, and their number is estimated at
12,000 according to some traditions.

* The
departure of this large number of Kharijites caused unrest in Ali’s army and
Ali entered Kufa with the rest of the army and became entangled in the affairs
of the Kharijites, especially when you found out that they The people have
begun to organize themselves, and they have appointed Amirs for prayer and
fighting, and have declared that allegiance should be to Allah alone.

And Amr
al-Ma’ruf and Nahi al-Munkar should be performed. These ideologies separated
them from the Muslim community in practice.

(Thoughts of
Kharijites and Shiites in the balance of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah / Dr. Ali
Muhammad al-Salabi: p. 22)

Amir
al-mu’minin Ali, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent Abdullah bin
Abbas to debate with him in an attempt to bring him back to the
Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen. Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) came to
him in the afternoon, greeted him and said, “What is the purpose of your
visit?”

Mir
al-Mu’minin Ali, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent Abdullah bin
Abbas to debate with him in an attempt to bring him back to the
Jamaat-e-Muslimeen. Abdullah ibn Abbas came to him in the afternoon, greeted
him and said, “What is the purpose of your visit?” He said: I have
come to you from the companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him
and grant him peace, and from your son-in-law, in whose presence the Qur’an was
revealed, No one is with you, and I will convey to you what they say and what
you say. Now tell me, what is your objection against the companions of the
Messenger of God and your cousins? “

No: There
are three objections:

(1) They
have committed disbelief by ruling the people in the matter of Allaah, while
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

57] (The command is only for Allah)

So what is the
role of people in the decision of Allah?

Secondly,
they fought and did not capture anyone in this battle nor did they amass booty,
whereas if (against them) were disbelievers then they should have been
imprisoned, and if they were believers then they fought Was not valid

Third: He
deleted the word “Amir al-Mu’minin” from the front of his name, so he
is the Amir of the disbelievers.

‘Abdullah
ibn’ Abbas asked him, “Is there anything else or just that?” So he
said that’s enough for us.

Then you
told them:

โ‰
“If I answer your objections with the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His
Prophet, will you accept it?”

So he said
yes.

‘Abdullah
ibn’ Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) began to answer their objections and
said:

โ€œAs far as
the ruling of the people is concerned, I recite to you the command of Allah in
which Allah has commanded the people at the cost of a quarter of a dirham, and
has commanded them to judge in it.

O you who
believe! Do not hunt wild animals while in ihram, and whoever deliberately
kills the cross is obliged to pay the ransom, which is equivalent to the
slaughtered animal, which will be decided by two of you who are trustworthy
(Al-Maa’idah: 95).

* Now I
swear by Allah that it is better for people to decide on the prey of rabbits
etc. or to save the blood of the people and decide on their welfare? Whereas
you know that if Allah Almighty had willed, He would have judged Himself and
would not have made people responsible for it.

So they
said: It is better He said: In the same way, Allaah says about the woman and
her husband: If they both want to be reconciled, Allah will reconcile them
(Al-Nisa ‘: 35).

ู‚ุณู…I swear
by Allah, I ask you: “Is it better to judge between people for the good of
men and to protect them, or about the private parts of a woman?”

Responding
to their second objection, Harp said: “You people say that ‘Ali fought but
did not imprison the people or seize their property. So I ask,’ Are you your
mother ‘Aisha?’ Can you arrest them and treat them as you treat other women
when they are your mother? If you consider it permissible to imprison them and
treat them like other women, then you have become a disbeliever. Even if you
say that she is not your mother, then you have disbelieved, because Allah
Almighty has commanded:

In the same
way, you are stuck in a dilemma of double error, if there is any way out of it,
then repent.

Responding
to their third objection, he said: “You say that Ali (may Allah be pleased
with him) erased the word ‘Amir al-Mu’minin” from the front of his name,
so let me tell you. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
made peace with the polytheists and said to ‘Ali (ra): Write: “This is the
covenant that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) agreed
to.” If we knew that you are the Messenger of Allah, we would have obeyed
you, write Muhammad ibn Abdullah in its place, then you asked Ali to erase it
and write Muhammad ibn Abdullah.
By Allah, Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be
upon him) is better than Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).

Conclusion:
With this answer of Abdullah bin Abbas, two thousand outsiders repented and the
rest left Kufa based on their misguidance and perished on the same day who were
killed by Ansar and Muhajireen.
